From Interstate 81:
Get onto 581 at Roanoke exit; go to Colonial Avenue exit which is the next one after Elm Avenue exit; at Colonial Avenue exit turn right onto Colonial Avenue, go to second stoplight, at a T intersection, turn left onto Brandon Avenue; proceed straight to third stoplight, large intersection of Brandon Avenue and Grandin Road; turn right onto Grandin Road. Drive approximately .7 mile; Local Roots Restaurant , 1314 Grandin Road, is immediately next to the Grandin (movie) Theater, on the right side of street, and directly across from the Roanoke Natural Foods Coop. There is often on-street parking in the neighborhood and additional parking behind the Natural Foods Coop.
From 460E/W ( aka Orange Avenue in Roanoke city):
Come into Roanoke close to intersection of Orange Avenue and Williamson Rd., near the Roanoke Civic Center; there will be signs directing you to 581 north or south. Take the ramp onto 581 south; see above directions
From 221S:
Take 221 north across 419 into Roanoke; stay on 221 which is now Brambleton Avenue for approximately three miles to a T intersection with stoplight, at Brandon Avenue. Turn left onto Brandon Avenue, proceed straight to large intersection with Grandin Road at stoplight.
